
Kayce Smith is a sports broadcaster, reporter and host. She is currently located in Boston, MA where she is a part of NBC Sports Boston. Smith appears on the network’s new show “Boston Sports Tonight” which airs weeknights from 9-Midnight est.
Prior to joining NBC Sports, Kayce left the sidelines to embrace her background in sportstalk radio and passion for sharing her opinions. She hosted a national radio show in partnership with SB Nation Radio and Gridiron Now. The first-of-its-kind female lead show, “The Kayce Smith Show”, aired 50 episodes and featured hot takes on the hottest topics in college football and beyond from Kayce and guests from all over the country.
She spent 2015-2016 full-time the SEC Network, covering college football, basketball and gymnastics. In 2014-2015, Smith worked as a freelance reporter for ESPN; appearing on SEC Network, ESPN and ESPNU live events. She also served as a college football bureau reporter for SportsCenter.
Previous to joining the ESPN family, she worked for Fox Sports South as a sideline reporter for the Atlanta Hawks in 2014. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a major in Communication and a minor in Journalism. She is represented by CAA agent Josh Santry.
Kayce was diagnosed with Stage 1 Melanoma in 2013 and is currently in remission (thanks to her wonderful oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas). She works closely with MD Anderson: CancerWise and LIVESTRONG to promote awareness for skin cancer and to support those currently battling cancer.
